24N SPORTS ACADEMY

Keep the kids active and engaged during the summer break with 24N Sports Academy’s five-week summer camp, running from July 6 to August 7 at Nadeen School in Dilmunia and American School of Bahrain in Riffa, with a pickup/drop-off bus service from Al Liwan in Hamala to both locations. AURA ARTS CENTRE

Nurture your child’s potential through engaging and joyful activities with Aura Arts Centre’s Summer Camp in Adliya. The flexible programme for kids aged three to 15 offers separate phases to suit different family schedules. The Main Camp, from July 1 to August 13 (BD65), includes the full activity lineup and special events, while the PostCamp, from August 17 to 31 (BD30), rounds off the break with relaxed, interactive sessions. Held Sunday to Thursday from 8.30am to 1pm (including a half-hour snack break), the camp’s programme includes drawing and painting, dance, yoga, movie time, public speaking, field trips and more. BAHRAIN MUSIC INSTITUTE

Let your children have musical fun this summer, as Bahrain Music Institute (BMI) is offering a lively mix of music, art and performance through its July Summer Camp and Harry Potter-themed drama programme. Open to children aged five and up, the camp runs over 10 days, from July 8 to 29, and includes activities such as drumming/ percussion, piano, singing, arts (painting/ drawing/crafting), escape games and a field trip to visit the Police Band. The full programme is priced at BD65. Running alongside the camp, from July 8 to 31, is a special Harry Potter Play for children aged six and above, priced at BD35. This performance-based drama is based on the Harry Potter movies and includes acting, singing, dancing, drumming, costumes, scenery and more. No prior experience is required. The British School of Bahrain’s summer offerings this year include two fun programmes. The ongoing Summer Vibes camp is open to kids aged three to 14 years, running until August 7 from 9am to 3pm. PASSION ART

Encourage children to get more creative this summer with Passion Art’s Summer Camps. Offering classes throughout July, this art-focussed summer camp is open to children aged five to 15. Designed to encourage hands-on creativity, the sessions combine learning with fun and include painting, sketching, crafts and clay modelling. Group sessions run every day except Friday, scheduled between 10am and 7pm for younger children (aged five to nine) and until 8pm for the older kids and teens (aged 10 to 15). MARKET STREET

Market Street in Adliya is hosting two summer programmes that offer kids a chance to build new skills while having fun. The first is Speak Up Summer Camp, a public speaking camp designed to help children aged seven to 16 become better communicators. Running from July 4 to August 31, with eight sessions a month, held twice a week, participants will learn to speak clearly and confidently, organise their thoughts, tell inspiring stories and overcome stage fright. The two-hour sessions are led by experienced mentors and include fun-filled activities, such as speech writing and delivery workshops; voice modulation and body language sessions; debate skills and battles; impromptu speaking challenges; and confidence-building games. Ideal for shy kids and little stars, this camp will allow them to discover the power of their voice this summer. The camp offers flexible batch choices – Monday and Tuesday, 6pm to 8pm and Friday and Saturday, 9.30am to 11.30am – and is priced at BD40, with sibling discounts available. THE BRITISH CLUB

For summer days full of fun, The British Club’s ongoing BC Juniors Summer Camp will not disappoint. Running until the end of July, it offers a packed weekday schedule from 12pm to 4pm for children aged four to 12. Held at No.10, the venue room, the programme’s weekly themes include Science Projects, Talent Showcase & Physical Fun, Sensory Play, Nature Camp and Invention & Innovation. The K Hotel’s popular Summer Camp returns this month and runs until August, offering a packed lineup of activities, along with some exciting new additions, designed to keep children active, social and entertained. Held Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 12.30pm, the camp runs in two batches: July 8 to 31 and August 3 to 28.
