Global superstar Doja Cat will perform in Bahrain for the very first time on May 16, the Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre has announced.

The American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer – real name: Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini – is one of the best-selling female rappers of all time with more than 34 million records sold between 2018 and 2022.

Known as the Queen of Pop-Rap, the 30-year-old has won a Grammy Award, six Billboard Music Awards, five American Music Awards, six MTV Video Music Awards and eight iHeartRadio Music awards and has been described by Billboard as “one of the world’s biggest pop stars” and “one of the defining pop stars of this era” with Time magazine listing her as one of the world’s most influential people in 2023.

The chart-topping artist has released five best-selling studio albums so far and fans in Bahrain can expect to hear some of her biggest hits during her concert at Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, including Say So, Kiss Me More, Paint the Town Red and Woman. Tickets for the show will go on sale at 4pm on February 16.
