Canon has released its first full-frame camera that’s designed specifically with vloggers in mind.

Uniquely catering to solo videographers, hybrid shooters and social content creators, the EOS R6 V is the premium flagship model in Canon’s V series lineup. According to the brand, the R6 V is: “…designed for creatives who capture video on a daily basis who want control, operability and reliability, with limited creative constraints.”

The versatile full-frame camera with 7K RAW video offers Open Gate recording and image stabilisation combined with a lightweight design, an ergonomic grip and useful zoom lever for effortless control of supported lenses while shooting.

An in-body image stabiliser promises smooth handheld footage with no need for a gimbal and video can also be shot in vertical, while a built-in vertical tripod socket and vertical interface let you seamlessly shoot social content and portrait photos.

Shoot sharp video up to 7K and detailed 32.5MP stills, using an advanced CMOS sensor designed for hybrid workflows. There’s also a plug-and-play webcam and users can enjoy more quality and control with 7K 60p RAW and oversampled 4K 60p – plus Canon Log 2 and 3 for a wider dynamic range.

Get up and running with high-quality 4K 60p UVC streaming over USB, and easy transfers via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.✤
