The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) is offering a unique volunteer opportunity at the Biennale Architettura 2025.

Passionate about architecture, art or design? Then this is for you. BACA is seeking passionate and committed volunteers to represent the Kingdom at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – Biennale Architettura 2025, taking place from May 10 to November 23 in Venice, Italy. This unique one-month opportunity offers hands-on experience at a globally recognised event, allowing participants to engage with visitors, develop exhibition management skills and experience the vibrant cultural and architectural landscape of Venice. Volunteers will be responsible for presenting the Bahrain Pavilion to a diverse international audience, overseeing the opening and closing, answering questions, monitoring the pavilion and ensuring a smooth visitor experience. They will also assist with guided tours, maintain exhibition materials and document activities and events for the pavilion’s management team. This role provides an opportunity to build international connections while gaining practical experience in a global cultural setting.

Selected participants will receive a round-trip airfare to Venice, accommodation near the Biennale site and a daily allowance for the duration of the volunteer term. A certificate of appreciation and participation, signed by BACA, will also be awarded upon completion.

Applicants must be Bahraini nationals or residents, at least 21 years old, fluent in English, with strong communication skills and available for a one-month commitment between May and November. An interest in architecture or the theme of the pavilion is essential, while knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
