Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons has announced its partnership with ZEEKR, the global electric mobility technology brand from Geely Holding Group.

As part of the partnership, Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons’ (YKA) subsidiary company, Asia Motors, has been appointed as the authorised distributor of ZEEKR in Bahrain. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in YKA’s commitment to spearheading sustainable transportation solutions and driving the future of electric mobility in the region.

ZEEKR will offer ZEEKR 001 shooting-brake (car body style) and ZEEKR X SUV models in the Kingdom, which provide a range of features such as the internet of vehicles (IoV), local navigation and Human-Machine Interface (HMI). Considering the high-temperatures on the island, both models are calibrated and tested in Saudi Arabia with heat management and highpressure systems to ensure their air conditioning reliability, showing they meet regulatory requirements and performance in these conditions.
