The new Tiguan 2021, boasting sharp style and progressive technology, was due to land in Bahrain just a few short weeks ago.

The global best seller has received a facelift for 2021. The exterior includes a completely renewed front grille, full LED headlights and new Volkswagen logo. The eye-catching bumpers have also undergone a makeover, looking more rugged and complementing the 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. The LED daytime running lights and taillights come with integrated turn-signal indicators. The latest generation also comes with larger, redesigned alloy wheels, available from 17 to 20 inches.

Known for its iconic style, the Tiguan now comes in 10 colours, including Reflex silver metallic, Deep black pearl, Nightshade blue metallic and Kinds red metallic. The redesigned SUV offers four trims for this market.

The new interior features a modern design with multi-function touch steering wheel, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and optional 9.2-inch Discover Pro Navigation. It also features wired and wireless App-Connect smartphone integration, enabling the driver to use smartphone apps directly on the vehicle display. The premium Harman/Kardon sound system has eight speakers to entertain while driving.

Drawing further on style, the Tiguan features multi-coloured ambient lighting, with up to 30 different colours, and a redesigned air-conditioning control system with automatic climate control throughout. In addition, the premium R-Line trim features an optional black style package that includes, 19-inch Valencia black alloy wheels, black mirror housing, black decorative inserts, and black exterior styling elements. ✤
