Behbehani Brothers W.L.L., the official distributor for Volkswagen in the Kingdom, has announced the arrival of the all-new Amarok to the island.

The pickup‘s striking exterior, including a straight and upright bonnet, emphasises Volkswagen’s unmistakable DNA. The new, powerful, turbocharged petrol engine produces an exciting 302hp and 452Nm of torque. Equipped with an advanced 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system and a differential lock, the Amarok is a true off-roading champion. Four different modes are available to conquer any type of surface.

Inside the cabin, the Amarok offers a state-of-the-art infotainment system measuring up to 12 inches and a digital cockpit spanning up to 12.3 inches, providing the driver and passengers with cutting-edge connectivity and entertainment options. Comfortable and adjustable seats offer lumbar support and up to 10 settings in higher specifications. The rear of the double cab provides ample space for three adult passengers.

More than 25 advanced assistance systems enhance overall road safety, including intelligent speed control assistance, parking assistance, 360-degree all-round view, lane change assistance and road sign recognition.

The Amarok boasts a remarkable towing capacity of up to 3,500kg and an increased maximum payload of 1.19 tonnes.

The Volkswagen Amarok is available in multiple variants, including Life, the luxurious Aventura and the off-road-focused Panamericana. The Aventura and Panamericana come with IQ.LIGHT – LED matrix headlights, a Harman/ Kardon premium sound system, 360-degree camera, park assist plus and dynamic light assist.✤
