A GASTRONOMIC JOURNEY TO BEVERLY HILLS

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay has announced a pop-up event which will see the iconic Wolfgang Puck eatery Spago brought to life in the Kingdom.

Fine-dining connoisseurs and gastronomy aficionados can enjoy an exclusive experience on October 26 and 27 when CUT by Wolfgang Puck, at The Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, will transform into Spago Beverly Hills for a pop-up event. Every detail of Spago Beverly Hills, Wolfgang Puck’s flagship restaurant in California, will be authentically recreated with à la carte menu offerings, creative beverages – even the staff uniforms!

Two-Michelin-starred Chef Tetsu Yahagi of the Beverly Hills restaurant, who is back in Bahrain for this pop-up, will cook alongside Brian Becher, the Regional Executive Chef of the Wolfgang Puck Fine-Dining Group.

Get ready for specially crafted tasting menus with local twists and flavours. Highlights will include Camel Ricotta Cheese Sambousek, and Maine Lobster Pot Pie with Roasted Root Vegetables. Another mouth-watering dish, Blue Fin Tuna Crudo with Cucumber-Wasabi Aguachile, will be a feast for the taste buds, and the sweet ending of the evening will be with Wolfgang’s Famous Apple Strudel.

CUT Lounge will exhibit an equally exciting transformation as Adam Fournier, Spago Beverly Hills Bar Director and 2021 World Class Drinks US Bartender of the Year, oversees amazing beverages that guests can enjoy alongside à la carte Spago bar bites. A genuine mixology magician, highlights of his creations with authentic twists are the Rodeo Drive, Flat White and the Bedouin Milk Punch, featuring clarified camel milk. Guests who prefer zero beverages can indulge in Fournier’s modern recipes, which feature an interesting blend of flavours including Sakura blossom-infused white tea, rose and watermelon.

Chefs Tetsu and Brian will present the Spago bar-bites menu, which includes the Lamb Merguez Hot Dog, Smoked Black Cod Tacos with Salsa Amarillo, Japanese Wagyu Tataki with Onion Ponzu, Popcorn Prawns with Singaporean Black Pepper Glaze and Maine Lobster Corn Dogs.

CUT by Wolfgang Puck, led by Chef Brian, has won many prestigious accolades, including being featured in the 50 Best list of restaurants for the Middle East and Africa region. The pop-up runs from 7pm to 11pm and is priced at BD78 for the tasting menus. The Spago Lounge menu at CUT Lounge is priced à la carte. ✤
