ALL-VILLA MAGNIFICENCE

Opulence and wellness are in store at the extensively revamped Al Areen Palace, which has been taken over by premium brand Raffles.

With the aim of redefining luxury hospitality, the newly opened Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain is the first and only all-villa property in the Kingdom.

Developed in collaboration with GFH Financial Group, this breathtaking desert paradise boasts 78 ultra-luxurious secluded private pool villas in one-, two- and three-bedroom options.

From spacious living areas and private pools to serene gardens and lavish amenities, every detail at the property has been thoughtfully crafted to create an oasis of tranquillity and opulence. Furthermore, Raffles’ legendary butler service will ensure guests are taken care of in an anticipatory and personalised manner.

More importantly, well-being and reconnection with the natural world are at the heart of Raffles Bahrain. A secret garden flourishes under the care of a palace botanist, who is on hand to share valuable wisdom and host exclusive workshops for guests, from organic gardening to tree planting, date picking and healing herbs. Guests also have the option to book well-being villas, designed to provide secluded wellness experiences.

Striking art, created in collaboration with local artists, adorns the restaurants and shared spaces celebrating the vivid colours and eye-catching shapes of Arabic art and architecture. Set to become a culinary hotspot, Palma, an all-day Mediterranean restaurant, will feature locally inspired fusion dishes and collaborations with internationally renowned chefs. While world-renowned pastry expert Chef Yazid Ichemrahen, known for his artistic creations at Ycone Paris, will bring his finely crafted sweet treats. Guests also have the option of dining poolside at the Raffles Pool Lounge or experiencing in-villa dining with a private chef, upon request.

Setting a new standard for events in the destination, the palace will host celebrations of all sizes and styles in its sophisticated indoor and outdoor event spaces. Secret gardens have been spectacularly designed to host anything from hidden-away romantic dinners all the way to fairy-tale destination weddings. For smaller gatherings, guests can opt for in-villa celebrations for the utmost privacy – or organise the ‘event of the season’ in one of the hotel’s larger spaces.

Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles & Orient Express, said: “The brand has a strong presence in the Middle East and this spectacular new hotel will offer guests an opportunity to explore the enchanting allure of Bahrain like never before.”

The prime location of the resort makes it ideal for leisure and business travellers, due to its close proximity to major venues including Exhibition World Bahrain, the Bahrain International F1 Circuit, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Waterpark and the Al Dana Amphitheatre. ✤
