Euro Motors, the official importer of BMW Group vehicles for Bahrain, has announced the launch of the new BMW X1 in the Kingdom.

The third generation BMW X1 showcases the German automotive giant’s hallmark design, with superior spaciousness, advanced digitalisation and, for the first time, an all-electric drive system.

The new X1 has a robust appearance and encompasses a functional versatility. Expressively sculpted surfaces and a long roofline highlight the dynamically stretched silhouette. At the rear, the slim tailgate window, horizontal lines, striking LED lights and flared wheel arches create that striking SAV (sports activity vehicle) appearance.

Compared to earlier models, the interior showcases a sophisticated ambience and brings a broader selection of standard equipment and features such as the two-zone automatic climate control, sport leather steering wheel and BMW Maps. The latest BMW Operating System 8 and the BMW Curved Display also redefine the forwardlooking character of this SAV for the premium compact segment.

The new BMW X1 comes with a choice of two petrol engines, paired with a seven-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch as standard. Featuring BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology, the X1 also treats its occupants to the latest-generation of BMW iDrive multi-sensory vehicle experience in the form of the standard-fit BMW Live Cockpit Plus.

The all-electric BMW iX1 xDrive30 meanwhile comes with a combined power consumption of 18.1 to 16.8 kWh/100km in the WLTP cycle and marks an enticing offering for electric mobility in the Kingdom.

Optional features for the BMW X1 include steering and lane control assistant, active cruise control with Stop&Go function, exit warning function and BMW head-up display, as well as remote 3D view, BMW drive recorder and remote theft recorder functions.
