Batelco introduces first-of-its-kind smart vending machine in Bahrain.

Batelco, part of the Beyon Group, unveiled its first fully-fledged digital experience shop at the newly opened Marassi Galleria Mall with an exclusive launch.

The outlet offers a convenient, contactless shopping experience designed to help elevate the customer’s journey and change the face of retail in Bahrain. It enables customers to complete all their transactions through a simple, smooth and hassle-free digital journey.

A special feature that sets the store apart from any other shop is the smart vending machine, the first-of-its-kind in Bahrain. It allows customers to purchase a new device on the spot with a few easy steps, without the help of a sales representative.

Another unique aspect is the product display zone, where customers can compare up to three devices side-by-side and explore their specifications, assisting shoppers to make better buying decisions.

The outlet also includes advanced self-service kiosks that incorporate a wide range of functions, including the ability to activate a new eSIM or replace a SIM card, as well as upgrade a Postpaid or Prepaid or Fiber line. Customers can also refill a prepaid plan, inquire about their bill, make payments and much more.

The launch event showcased a live demonstration of a purchase through the new vending machine, which dispenses various types of devices and accessories.

Batelco aims to launch more of these machines in different areas of the Kingdom soon. The new shop is located on the ground floor of the Marassi Galleria Mall. ✤
