In the heart of Amwaj Islands, Choices Restaurant, the all-day-dining venue at The Art Hotel & Resort, has just completely transformed to present one of the island’s finest Ramadan experiences for guests. Hosting traditional and international cuisines for Iftar, guests can expect to be met with a variety of options that will, for sure, leave them excited and in awe of it all.

Walking through the lobby of the hotel and entering Choices, the entire property has been lit up with Ramadan-themed lights and lanterns, giving it a homey feeling from the second you step foot inside. Once you continue the trail up into the restaurant, guests are ushered in with big smiles, hearty welcomes and refreshments before being asked where they would like to enjoy the evening – whether indoors or on the terrace.

Setup entirely to reflect a starry Ramadan evening, Choices was radiating the traditional vibes with an ambience that could not be matched. From Arabic decorations to a fascinating buffet, to luxurious set tables and even semi-private booths, both the indoors and the terrace had enough seating arrangements to allow you to pick your favourite and most comfortable spot.

From large open-style buffet countertops that coated the entire venue, to live cooking stations, we decided to start at the live salad bar and nibble our way through the Bahraini delicacies before admiring the grand Lamb Ouzi that was placed right in the centre. You have to go all-in to make sure you’re not missing out on anything!

We visited the live pasta station, hand-picked avocado sushi rolls, and enjoyed fresh quesadillas before we headed over to the delightfully long and colourful dessert aisle. That was one that we could never forget – fresh ice cream, exotic fruits, and a chocolate fountain. It was somewhat just like a dream!

Running throughout the month of Ramadan from sunset to 9pm, adults can enjoy the Layali Ramadan experience at Choices Restaurant at BD18 per person, and BD9 for kids aged six years and above.
