ROYAL GOLF CLUB

Summer excitement is in full swing at The Royal Golf Club in Riffa Views, as it gears up to host its highly anticipated Summer Camp 2024! Running until August 22, children aged three to 11 will embark on an unforgettable journey packed with fun and creativity.
With three specialised camps tailored to different age groups and interests, there’s something for everyone. For the youngest campers, aged three to five, the KG Camp provides a nurturing environment where they can play and learn. Older children, aged six to 11, can take part in the Sports Camp, offering a range of team games and activities, including swimming lessons, gymnastics, indoor football, arts and crafts, taekwondo, fitness circuits, Lego and creative play. The Dance-Fit Camp offers a girls-only programme for children aged six to 11, led by female coaches focusing on dance and fitness.

TEACHBAHRAIN X LAGOONA BEACH LUXURY RESORT AND SPA

TeachBahrain and Lagoona Beach Luxury Resort and Spa have joined forces to offer an exciting summer camp for children aged five to 14. Taking place at the sprawling resort, children will have the opportunity to explore and engage in various activities, all while making new friends and creating lasting memories.

THE BRITISH CLUB

Get ready for an unforgettable summer at The British Club’s BC Juniors Summer Camp. Starting on July 7 and running until August 15, this six-week programme promises an exciting array of activities designed to engage, educate and entertain kids, from ages four to 12. Each week of the camp is themed – kids enjoy a highlight activity for that week, along with music and dance, Zumba exercise, fun games, a short film and a quick siesta after lunch. Week One (July 7 to 11), Engaging with Nature, will have kids making bird feeders, planting seeds, creating terrariums and creating pizzas with veggies. Week Two (July 14 to 18), Experiments & Recycling Arts & Crafts, features fun science experiments, robotics and eco-friendly crafts like making bags and money banks from recycled materials. Week Three (July 21 to 25), Little Entrepreneur, encourages kids to develop their own products like jams and cookies, complete with branding and packaging. Week Four (July 28 to August 1), Sports Clinic & Gymnastics, includes various sports, such as football, netball, tennis, badminton, swimming and gymnastics. There will also be a ‘Sportslympics’ competition on the last day. During Week Five (August 4 to 8), Career Week, children will have a chance to explore different professions, engaging in hands-on activities, working in the club’s various departments like the kitchen, reception and maintenance. Finally, Week Six (Aug 11 to 15), Exploring Skills & Talents, focuses on enhancing abilities in dancing, singing, acting, photography and more, culminating in a mini talent show. BRITISH SCHOOL OF BAHRAIN

Prepare for a summer of adventure as British School of Bahrain once again partners with Clubs Complete UK to present its annual Elements by BSB Summer Camp. Running until August 8, children aged three to 14 can enjoy six weeks of fun-filled activities, with a new theme to explore each week. The first week, Get Creative, runs until July 4, where kids will unleash their imagination, featuring arts and crafts, messy play, design technology, costume making and more. The following week, from July 7 to 11, Get Active will have them engaging in sports like tennis, badminton, football and basketball. Mad Labs and Magic, running from July 14 to 18, will introduce children to fascinating science experiments and magic tricks.
From July 21 to 25, Challenge Your Limits will give the opportunity to take part in quizzes, competitions, treasure hunts and more. Star Academy, from July 28 to August 1, will allow children to try acting, singing and dancing as they prepare to perform a show. Finally, from August 4 to 8, Wet, Wild and Wacky will feature water games, science experiments and graffiti art.
Camp hours are from 9am to 3pm, with registration on a weekly basis, with a weekly fee of BD100 inclusive of lunch, plus a one-time registration fee of BD10. For an additional BD15 per week, children can also opt for exclusive French classes from 3pm to 4pm, Sunday to Thursday.

BAHRAIN BALLET CENTRE

Looking for a fun way to keep your kids active and entertained this summer? Bahrain Ballet Centre has just the answer, with exciting summer activities.
First up is the Dance Camp, running until July 18, from Sunday to Thursday, 8.30am to 10am. With an additional afternoon class from 2.30pm to 4pm, this camp offers various dance styles, including contemporary, acrobatics, modern, jazz, street, lyrical dance and even TikTok trends. Priced at BD44 for five days, it’s an ideal opportunity for young dancers to learn and grow.
But the fun doesn’t stop there, as the centre also hosts a Summer Camp, running throughout July until August 1, from Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 12.30pm. This camp offers a fun mix of activities like team games, arts and crafts, dance, movies, singing and fitness sessions to keep kids moving and energised. It is priced at BD49.5 for five days.
Both camps are open to children aged six to 15 and will take place at the Bahrain Ballet Centre studio in Budaiya. BAHRAIN MUSIC INSTITUTE

Enjoy a melodious summer with Bahrain Music Institute’s lineup of activities, including a summer camp, theatre play and concert, designed to ignite the passion for music and creativity in children of all ages.
Running from July 2 to 30, the Summer Camp is a 10-day programme for children aged five and above, held from 9am to 12pm. From drumming to piano, music in games to singing, as well as arts and crafts, this camp promises a thorough musical experience. Participants will even enjoy a special field trip to visit the Bahrain National Music Band, offering a unique opportunity to learn about different instruments and how the band creates and performs music. The camp is priced at BD65.
For those with a flair for the dramatic, the Aladdin Play programme is a perfect fit. This is a wonderfully designed drama based on the renowned film Aladdin. With activities ranging from acting to dancing, singing to drumming, children aged six and above can immerse themselves in the magic of theatre and participate with no previous knowledge required. Rehearsals take place throughout July, from 12pm to 3pm, culminating in a final performance on August 1 at 7pm. The full programme is priced at BD35. The Bahrain Youth Orchestra’s Summer Term is an open invitation to young musicians aged seven to 21, regardless of their instrument or skill level. Led by professionals, it offers a platform to connect, learn and explore music across various genres, including classical, pop, jazz, rock and more. Priced at BD95 for the full programme, rehearsals are held every Saturday from 10am to 12pm, with a final concert to be held at a soon to be announced date and venue.
