Sheeran has sold more than 150 million records worldwide and has 101 million RIAA-certified units (Recording Industry Association of America) in the US. In 2019, the Official Charts Company named him artist of the decade, with the most combined success in the UK album and singles charts in the 2010s. As of April 2022, Sheeran was the most followed artist on Spotify.

The artist’s debut album Plus (+) topped the UK Album chart and his second, Multiply (x) topped charts around the world and even won Album of the Year at the 2015 Brit Awards. Divide (÷) appeared on the list of best-selling albums worldwide in 2017. It featured the hit single Shape of You and Castle on the Hill, which broke records in a number of countries.

The Mathematics Tour (written as +–=÷× Tour) is the artist’s fourth concert tour. The name is an amalgamation of Sheeran’s albums: + (Plus), x (Multiply), ÷ (Divide), = (Equals) and – (Subtract). However, it is promoting Equals (2021) and the more recent Subtract (2023).

Prepare to be mesmerised as Sheeran makes his debut performance in Bahrain. Creating music since the age of 11, he released his seventh studio album Autumn Variations in September this year, through his own record label Gingerbread Man Records.
