Samsung launches new Galaxy S24 Ultra, now with AI capabilities.

During the launch of their latest Galaxy S24 series, Samsung Electronics unveiled their flagship premium android smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

It’s the brand’s first smartphone to feature a titanium frame, making it lighter and more durable, compared to the previous aluminium frames.

The main 6.8-inch screen is completely flat, a departure from the curved panels of older models. The flat screen makes it easier to use the S24 Ultra’s S Pen, which delivers a fast, fluid and impressive pen-to-paper-like experience. The Dynamic AMOLED 2X display boasts rich colours with crisp details and, with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, allows for improved visual clarity even in direct sunlight.

The Ultra’s smooth performance is aided by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which helps with gaming and using intensively demanding apps. Meanwhile, the massive 5000mAh battery offers a long life.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a powerful and sharp 200-megapixelwide quad rear camera setup with four lenses and a 12-megapixel selfie camera at the top of the screen.

Most interestingly, the Ultra uses the new Galaxy AI throughout many apps. For example, the camera uses AI Zoom to take better zoom photos; while Generative Edit in photos uses AI to fill in backgrounds and move, resize or erase objects; and Live Translate lets users quickly communicate in other languages over the phone. ✤
