Ramadan is all about giving and spending time with family, so, why not utilise this special period to encourage healthy and productive habits in your children. Fitbit recently launched its next-generation Ace 3 activity and sleep tracker, making it fun and easy for kids aged six-plus to get active and build healthy habits with the whole family.

These days, with home schooling and few sporting activities available, parents are challenged to find new ways to help kids stay active. Thankfully, Ace 3 has come to the rescue, inspiring kids to get moving regardless of circumstance and helping them build healthy habits to last a lifetime. Fitbit Ace 3 makes activity fun with animated clock face characters that change and grow as kids meet their goals.

With up to eight days of battery life in a waterproof design, Ace 3 can keep up all week long. It also features reminders to take at least 250 steps per hour to meet their daily target of 60 active minutes a day. Sleep tracking, bedtime reminders and silent alarms help parents and kids work together to develop a consistent sleep schedule. In the Fitbit app, kids can connect with parentapproved friends and family, engaging in friendly competition via Family Face-Off challenges, and celebrate milestones with virtual badges and trophies.

Parents have access to privacy controls and protections and can easily see their kids’ activities, manage what is shown on their app experience, and approve their friend requests. With an easy setup process, families can work together to pair Ace 3 with Android and iOS devices. Kids can now express their individuality with more than 20 newly designed animated clock faces to choose from. A variety of accessory band options are available and, coming soon, Ace 3 will be the first wearable to bring the Minions to kids’ wrists.
